Installation of Aux Input Adapter

Model: Lexus RX MK 2, Xu30 - Years 2003-2008
Part: Accessory kit

To install the Aux input adapter to the original car radio, you must first remove the radio itself. Start by releasing the trim around the gear lever, prying along the edges and taking care not to damage it; then detach the panel housing the cigarette lighter and unscrew the four fixing screws (two on each side) of the radio to extract it from its position. At this point, disconnect the smaller central connector and bypass it with the wiring of the adapter, which should be positioned behind the radio, routing the Aux input to the most convenient location; it is recommended to check functionality before reassembling everything.

Timing Belt Replacement on Audi Q5

The timing belt on the Audi Q5 has reached its mileage limit, so what should you do? Let's go through the removal of the belts on the Q5. Open and lift the hood of the engine, then remove the engine soundproofing panel. Once these steps are completed, remove the plastic covers of the belts located on the left side of the engine. Loosen the second tensioner and slide the belt out of its seat. After installing the new belt, use a wrench to install the tensioner pulley, and tighten it until the belt has the correct tension (install both belts). Reinstall the covering plastics. Start and test the Audi Q5 engine.
