Lexus IS - Video tutorial

Model: Lexus IS MK 2 - Years 2005-2013
Part: Engine oil
Operation: Guide to changing engine oil

Changing the engine oil is one of the most important things to do to ensure the proper functioning of the car. This procedure is easy and inexpensive to perform. The first thing to do is to lift the car off the ground. It is preferable to leave the crankcase with the engine running for a few minutes. It is then necessary to remove the oil cap, it is the opening through which the new oil will have to be poured after having drained the old one. The bolt that closes the oil pan must then be loosened by turning it anticlockwise, using the right wrench, and once all the old oil has come out, the nut can be put back on.
