Many engine pulleys are equipped with a damping element designed to reduce vibrations generated by the engine operation. This rubber component tends to deteriorate over time and, before completely detaching, begins to produce noticeable noise.

Therefore, it is essential to replace the pulley before it fails. Lift the vehicle and remove the lower cover, then detach the auxiliary belt and remove the engine pulley.

Once on the workbench, a special puller is required to replace the pulley.
