Replacement of Front Brake Pads

Model: Lexus IS MK 2 - Years 2005-2013
Part: Brake pads

Replacing the brake pads is one of the easiest maintenance tasks you can perform yourself: lift the vehicle on a jack or hydraulic lift if possible; then remove the front wheel and the fixing pins of the brake caliper; take off the brake caliper, disconnect the wear sensor plug and remove the old pads; attach the sensor to the new pads, position them in the support, connect the sensor plug, retract the caliper piston using a suitable tool or a pair of pliers and secure it to the support; pay attention during the first braking.

How to Open the Boot of the Ford Ecosport

Opening the boot lid of the Ford Ecosport is a straightforward operation that greatly facilitates access when normal operation would otherwise be inconvenient. Naturally, you can open the boot using the remote/key in the same way you open the doors of the cabin. However, in some cases, you may need to open it in other ways. You will notice that there is no handle or button for manual opening in the usual positions. Instead, you will find the handle with the lock underneath at the top of the right rear light, highlighted by the chrome finish. This allows you to open the boot, which will swing open to the left.
