Replacement of Front Suspension Drop Link

Model: Lexus IS MK 2 - Years 2005-2013

The failure of the drop link (slang term for stabiliser link) connecting the stabiliser bar to the suspension wishbone is quite common, but replacing it is straightforward. Lift the vehicle on the lift and remove the front wheel to increase working space. Use a hex key to hold the drop link's shaft while you undo the securing nut, from both the stabiliser bar side and the wishbone side. Once the old drop link is removed, install the new one in the same way (it is advisable to replace both).
