To reset the maintenance light on the Lexus RX 400, follow these steps: 1) insert the key and turn it to the ON position (or position 1) to activate the instrument panel while keeping the engine off; 2) use the odometer button to display the relevant screen; 3) turn off the instrument panel; 4) hold the odometer button while turning the instrument panel back on; 5) release the button; 6) turn off and then turn the instrument panel back on again; 7) press the odometer button and turn off the instrument panel; 8) hold the button again while turning the panel back on. The light is now reset!
