Steering Rack Tie Rod End Replacement
Model: Lexus IS
MK 2
- Years 2005-2013
The failure of the tie rod end of the steering rack is a fairly common fault as the ball joint is constantly in operation. Lift the vehicle on a ramp and remove the front wheel. Remove the safety clip from the ball joint pin and undo the securing nut. Use a fork puller to extract the tie rod end and loosen the lock nut on the tie rod to complete the removal of the end, noting the number of turns. Screw on the new tie rod end with the same number of turns, tighten the lock nut and secure it to the hub support. After installation, it is recommended to have the alignment checked.

How to Open the Boot of the Ford Ecosport
Opening the boot lid of the Ford Ecosport is a straightforward operation that greatly facilitates access when normal operation would otherwise be inconvenient. Naturally, you can open the boot using the remote/key in the same way you open the doors of the cabin. However, in some cases, you may need to open it in other ways. You will notice that there is no handle or button for manual opening in the usual positions. Instead, you will find the handle with the lock underneath at the top of the right rear light, highlighted by the chrome finish. This allows you to open the boot, which will swing open to the left. by ScegliAuto More videos
