How to Replace the Rear Camera on a Lincoln MKX

Model: Lincoln Mkx MK 1 - Years 2007-2015

If the rear camera on your Lincoln MKX is faulty, replacing it is not difficult, as the entire operation can be done from the rear trunk. Open the trunk and remove the screws from the internal handles, which secure the plastic parts to the body. Take off the trim, being careful not to scratch the plastics and the glass. The camera is located exactly in the center of the trunk, and you can see it well because it has its electrical connector. You can find the camera on major e-commerce platforms for about $62. Be careful during installation to orient the camera in the same position it was in before. If necessary, take a photo for reference.
