The disassembly of the Malaguti Fifty engine can be carried out by unscrewing all the bolts that hold the assembly to its housing in the center of the frame: it will be necessary to unscrew the screws that hold the engine supports and intake manifolds. Once the connectors have been disconnected, it will be possible to proceed by unscrewing the screws that fix the cylinder to the top of the engine, then removing the piston inside it; at this point it will be possible to disassemble all the other internal components, so that it is then possible to close the engine block and verify that everything is functioning.

How to Replace the Engine Oil and Oil Filter on an Aprilia RSV 1000

This short video will show you how to carry out the routine maintenance service by replacing the engine oil and oil filter on the Aprilia RSV 1000 motorcycle. First, place your motorcycle on the centre stand and start by unscrewing the oil drain bolt located under the engine, allowing it to drain into a container for about ten minutes; then use the appropriate tool to unscrew and remove the oil filter, replacing the cartridge with a new one as shown in the video. Finally, unscrew the filler screw and top up by pouring in the suitable oil for your engine!
