In this video tutorial, you will see how to disassemble and replace the rollers of the variator on a Malaguti Phantom 50 F12 R scooter. First, position your scooter on the centre stand and remove the left side engine cover by unscrewing all the fastening bolts to access the pulley and variator. At this point, unscrew the variator fastening bolt and remove it, then extract the rollers as shown in the video. Replace them with new ones of the correct type, and reassemble everything by applying the reverse procedure of disassembly!
