To replace the shock absorbers on a Malaguti Spidermax GT 500, open the under-seat compartment by lifting the seat after unlocking it with the key. Next, loosen the screws that secure the drawer inside the compartment and remove it completely. Once the drawer is removed, you will have access to the underlying components: in particular, you can unscrew the bolts that secure the shock absorbers at the top. Once the bolts at the bottom have also been loosened, you can remove and replace them.
