In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the fuel filter on a Maruti Alto, a task that is extremely simple and quick. First, open the fuel tank cap to relieve the pressure in the system, then go underneath the vehicle, on the left rear side, and locate the filter in question. Once you have done that, disconnect the two hoses by unlocking the respective clips, drain the remaining fuel, and remove both mounting bolts using a socket wrench. To install the replacement filter, simply follow the reverse procedure.
