Operation: How to replace the cabin air filter on Maxus G10

To replace the passenger compartment air filter, proceed as follows: open the passenger side door, locate the glove compartment under the passenger side dashboard, open the glove compartment and unhook the side supports in order to extract it . On the bottom of the compartment there is a lid, on the sides of the lid there are two levers to be released to access the filter housing compartment. Remove the filter and replace it with the equivalent model suitable for the type of car (see use and maintenance manual). Proceed to refit the cover and reattach the glove compartment.

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes.
