To perform the DIY task of replacing the air filter on the vehicle, follow these steps: First, open the hood and locate the box containing the filter on the left side of the compartment. To open the cover, remove the screws around the box and disconnect the air pressure sensor connector. Once the screws are removed, you can lift the cover of the box containing the filter and remove the old filter, replacing it with the new one. Always ensure that the replacement part has specifications compatible with the engine type. Then, reposition the filter cover and reattach the mounting screws to complete the job.
