The tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) warning light is reset only after checking the tire pressure and adjusting it according to the instructions provided by the manufacturer. The instructions are written on a sticker placed on the passenger side sun visor. To reset the TPMS warning light on a Mazda 2, first turn on the vehicle's instrument panel and then press the SET button, which has the tire pressure warning light symbol on it, and wait for the reset to complete. Once done, you can turn off the vehicle and restart it to complete the procedure.
