Reprogramming the key of a Mazda 2 after replacing the car battery is a simple and quick operation to perform independently. To reprogram the key, we need to get into the car and, keeping the driver's side door open, insert the key into the ignition and turn it three times in a row; then we close the door and open and close it three times in a row while keeping the key in the ignition. Remove the key and press the vehicle's open and close button three times in a row while keeping the car door closed. After completing these steps, the key will work again without any further issues.
