First, open the front door on the driver's side and start pulling the hood release lever located at the bottom on the driver's side; then move to the front of the vehicle and release the lever located between the front bumper and the hood (in the center), as shown in the video. Lift the hood, secure the rod to hold it in place; gently lower the hood to close it, after repositioning the rod in its place.
