There are two effective methods to reset the service light on a third-generation Mazda 6. The video provided shows both methods using a 2017 model. The first method is simple: hold down the reset button while turning on the instrument cluster and wait at least five seconds before releasing it and turning off the ignition. The second method is done through the Infotainment system, where you first select "Applications" and then, in succession, "Vehicle Status", "Maintenance", and "Oil change". In the last submenu, choose "Reset" and confirm to reset the light.
