Replacing the Cabin Air Filter

Model: Mazda 6 GH, MK 2 - Years 2008-2012
Part: Cabin air filter

The cabin air filter is located on the passenger side, just behind the glove compartment. Open the glove compartment, unclip the side stop bracket by pulling it outwards, and lower the glove compartment door completely. If necessary, unclip it. At this point, you can see the cabin air filter housing: remove the cover, take out the old filter, clean the housing of any debris, and insert the new filter, ensuring the airflow direction is correct. Reapply the cover and reattach the door.
