Engine Air Filter Replacement

Model: Mazda 6 GH, MK 2 - Years 2008-2012

Open the front bonnet and locate the engine air filter housing: it is situated at the front right (when facing the vehicle) just in front of the battery. Release the securing clips of the cover, disconnect the mass air sensor connector, and lift to extract the old filter. Ensure there are no residues inside the filter housing (remove any with a vacuum cleaner or compressed air, taking care not to let them enter the intake duct) and insert the new filter; reattach the securing clips and the sensor connector.
