Replacing the Front Headlamp Bulb

Model: Mazda 3 BK, MK 1 - Years 2003-2009

To replace the front headlamp bulb, first remove the plastic cover located between the fuse box and the engine cover. At this point, disconnect the connector attached to the bulb, remove the rubber cap protecting the bulb holder; disengage the bulb retaining spring and remove the bulb from its socket. Insert the new bulb, orienting it correctly and avoiding touching the glass with your fingers; secure it to the bulb holder by engaging the spring, reposition the protective rubber cap, and reconnect the power connector. It is recommended to also replace the bulb of the other headlamp to ensure greater uniformity of illumination.
