Replacing Mazda 3 Key Battery

Model: Mazda 3 MK 3, BN, BM - Years 2013-2019

To start, locate the small tab on the back of the remote. Push this small tab to extract the manual key from the casing. At this point, use any sharp tool (I recommend a small flat screwdriver, not scissors as shown in the video) to lever in the central slot, splitting the casing in two halves. Remove the round battery cover and, finally, you can also extract the battery itself. Insert the new battery and proceed in reverse until fully reassembled, putting the remote back together as it was originally.
