Replacing the Remote Battery of a Mazda 3

In this guide, replace the remote battery of a Mazda 3. When you can no longer unlock your car, you need to change the battery inside the key fob. Take the car's ignition key and slide out the metal key from the key fob (press the button); insert a screwdriver into the slot, press at the right point until you open the plastic cover of the key. Remove the exhausted battery and insert the new one, then close the key fob with the cover and finally slide the metal key back in.
