How to Replace the Seatbelt in a Mazda 323

In this video, you will learn how to replace the seatbelt in a Mazda 323. First, open the front and rear doors, and using a lever, unclip and remove the finishing plastic of the scuff plate. Next, unclip the lower cover of the central pillar to expose the pretensioner, and remove the cover of the bolt that secures the seatbelt's sliding ring, then unscrew the bolt with a 17mm socket. Next, unscrew the seatbelt fixing bolt using the same 17mm socket, remembering to retrieve the washers from the fixing bracket. Also, unscrew the upper and lower bolts of the pretensioner using a 10mm and a 17mm socket, respectively. Remove the pretensioner, disconnect the electrical connector, and retrieve the fixing bracket. Install the new pretensioner and reconnect the connector, secure the sliding ring, and tighten the new seatbelt. Finally, reassemble everything.
