First, take a pointed object like a flat screwdriver and get inside the vehicle; to remove the rear-view mirror, push towards yourself from the side of the pillar, as illustrated in the video.

This way, you should be able to remove the entire rear-view mirror, as it is only clipped into the mount; now you can replace it with the new one, applying the reverse procedure!
