Replacing the External Wing Mirror

Model: Mazda 3 BK, MK 1 - Years 2003-2009

Replacing the external wing mirror involves removing the panel above the door. For safety, start by disconnecting the negative terminal of the battery. Then, carefully remove the panel, taking care with the various internal wiring that needs to be detached. Behind the plastic cover, you will find the three retaining screws for the mirror that need to be removed. Disconnect the wire by acting on the connector and remove the mirror. Refit the new mirror by reversing the previous steps. Ensure the perfect positioning of the three supports in their respective housings. Check that the adjustment mechanism still functions correctly.
