Front Headlamp Bulb Replacement

Model: Mazda Rx 8 MK 1 - Years 2003-2012

To replace the bulbs, it is necessary to completely remove the wheel to access the front light assembly. Unscrew the retaining screws of the cover, those under the wheel arch, and those under the bumper that secure the grille. Remove the grille from the wheel arch, and you will finally have access to the light. Remove the protective cap with a flat screwdriver and using a T15 Torx key, unscrew the bulb holder, which should be gently pulled out from its seat after disconnecting the electrical connector. Place the assembly on a support and extract the bulb by removing the clips. Install the new bulb. Refit the bulb holder in its respective seat and reposition the light assembly in its housing, reconnecting the relevant connector. Screw in the retaining screws and reassemble everything.
