Replacement of Front Suspension Wishbone Ball Joint

Model: Mazda Mpv LW - Years 1999-2006

Once the vehicle is lifted on a ramp, it is easy to check the play in the wishbone ball joint: unscrew the mounting bolt of the joint from the hub and extract it using a forked tool with a conical shape. Next, remove the wishbone from the suspension to place it on a bench, extract the ball joint and insert the new one (it is recommended to perform this operation using a press or a bench vice). After completing the revision of the wishbone, reverse the process for installation back onto the vehicle.
