Engine Air Filter Replacement

Model: Mazda Rx 8 MK 1 - Years 2003-2012

Open the engine bonnet: the filter is located at the front of the engine. Release the bayonet clips of the filter housing and push it backwards to slide it out of the intake duct, then open it to extract the old filter; ensure there are no residues inside the filter housing, insert the new filter and close it; finally, reposition the filter housing in its place, ensuring the intake duct is properly seated. Given the type of vehicle, it is advisable to opt for a sports-type filter.
