To replace the air filter on a Mazda RX-8, open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay. You will need to remove the screws securing the box containing the filter in its housing. By lifting it slightly, you can unclip the pins at the front of the box, allowing you to open the lid and remove the filter inside.

Once the old filter is removed, insert the new replacement, close the box, and reposition it in its place.
