Replacement of Rear Brake Pads

Model: Mazda 3 MK 1, BK - Years 2003-2009
Part: Brake pads

Lift the vehicle, remove the wheels, and secure it. Carefully detach the caliper by removing the two clips and unscrewing the rear bolts. Remove the caliper support bracket using a ratchet spanner by taking out the two screws and set it aside. Take out the old pads and realign the piston to retract it. Clean the support thoroughly with a deoxidising spray. Refit the bracket, cleaning and lubricating the fixing screws, then tighten them with a torque wrench. Refit the caliper and pads, ensuring the correct orientation. Check the pads' adherence to the disc and refit the wheel.

How to Remove the Front Shock Absorber on a Peugeot 406

How to remove the front shock absorber on a Peugeot 406? The first step is to lift the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the shock absorber mounting bolts (engine bay), lift the car on a column lift and remove the front wheel. Unscrew the shock absorber mounting bolts at the wheel hub (detach the brake line clips with a screwdriver). Unscrew the bolts on the side, then remove the shock absorber from its housing (place a support under the bar). Compare the old part with the new one and prepare for installation. Fit the new shock absorber to the car, working in reverse order.
