Brake Pad Replacement

Model: Mazda 3 BK, MK 1 - Years 2003-2009

Obtain original replacement brake pads, then lift the vehicle and secure it before removing the wheel. Unscrew the two retaining screws of the caliper with an Allen key and remove it by taking off the two retaining springs. Check the wear condition of the retainers and the piston. Clean the entire braking assembly of any debris. Lubricate the fixing pins and reposition the piston, ensuring it functions correctly. Fit the new pads, paying attention to the direction of rotation, and install the one with contacts facing inwards. Carefully refit the caliper and springs. Reset the position of the pistons using a tool, then operate the brake pedal. Ensure the pads are perfectly adhered to the disc. Recheck the brake fluid level.
