How to Remove the Dashboard Insert of a Mazda CX-3

To remove the dashboard insert, you will need a thin but sturdy tool, preferably plastic, to avoid damaging the dashboard. Start by inserting the tool into the gap between the insert and its housing. Once inserted, gently lever it while sliding it around the perimeter. This will progressively release the clips holding the insert in place. Once you have gone around the perimeter, the insert will be detached enough to remove it with a gentle pulling force. After completing this step, you will have successfully disassembled it.
