How to Replace the Key Battery of the Mazda 3

The key battery may run out. It is necessary to replace it by purchasing a new one from any retailer; the model is listed in the user and maintenance manual, which is also available online, and should be of type CR 1620. Using a flat screwdriver, with the key extracted in the usable position, separate the key from the shell. Still using the screwdriver, pry the shell apart to access the battery compartment. Remove the old battery and replace it, then reverse the steps to complete the process. Now test the remote control with all its functions.
