Timing Belt Replacement

Model: Mazda 6 GG, MK 1 - Years 2002-2008
Part: Timing belt

This video shows how to replace the timing belt. First, remove the underbody plastic covers, then take off the tensioner using a 14mm spanner. Next, remove the six bolts from the largest pulley and take out the water reservoir for better access. You need to disassemble the difficult-to-remove timing belt cover; once removed, take off the crankshaft pulley, paying attention to its alignment mark for reinstallation. Loosen the various tensioners and remove the worn parts. When reassembling, check the correct tension of the belt.

How to Replace the Battery on a Peugeot 207

How to replace the battery on a Peugeot 207? Follow these steps: open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the front bonnet, disengaging the locking lever with your fingers. Secure it with the prop rod. Once the engine compartment is open, you will find the battery to be replaced on the right. Use a socket spanner to unscrew the securing bolts of the battery terminals and disconnect the locking plate (if present). Remove the old battery and fit a new one, tightening the power terminals. Close the battery compartment and shut the bonnet.
