To replace the spark plugs on the Mazda CX-9, open the hood to remove the plastic cover from the top of the engine block. Under this cover, you will find the coils connected to the injectors, which need to be disconnected.

Then, the injectors can be pulled out of their housings, giving access to the underlying spark plugs. Using a socket wrench, remove the old spark plugs and replace them with new ones; finally, reinstall all the components that were removed earlier.
