In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the fuel filter in a Mazda 3, a very simple and cost-effective operation. Start by lifting the rear right area with a jack, taking all necessary precautions. Next, remove the wheel and locate the filter, which is situated just behind the suspension arm. Then, remove the lower protection panel, undo the bolts of the mounting bracket with a 10 mm spanner, and disconnect the two fuel pipes. Once done, connect the pipes to the new filter and secure it to the bracket by following the reverse procedure.
