Removing the starter motor on this car model is not exactly straightforward due to its position at the rear of the engine beneath the intake manifold; to remove the starter, you will first need to take off the intake manifold to gain more working space and access the mounting pins of the motor; in addition to the pins securing the starter motor support bracket, you will also need to disconnect the cables powering the solenoid; once the starter motor is removed, proceed in reverse for the installation of the new or refurbished unit: given the complexity of the job, it is recommended to choose a quality product.

How to Reset the EDC Light on a Mercedes Sprinter?

When the EDC light appears on the instrument cluster of a Mercedes Sprinter, it indicates a generic malfunction in the vehicle's injection system. To identify the source of the problem, a diagnosis must be performed at a workshop. This will help identify the damaged component, which will need to be replaced or repaired. Once the issue has been physically addressed, connect a diagnostic tool to the vehicle's OBD port located under the steering column. This will allow you to clear the errors in the ECU, turning off the EDC light.
