When the passenger compartment heating fan does not work because the resistor needs to be replaced, locate its position which, in this case, is beyond the glovebox. Open the glove compartment and press the sides of the lid structure to disengage it and thus be able to extract it. Locate the resistor housing and disconnect it from the power supply by pressing on the socket clip (located at the rear as seen in the video) and pulling it out. Now it is necessary to unscrew the two screws that hold the resistance in place and extract the resistance itself. To replace it with the new resistance we repeat the same operations carried out following, however, the opposite order. The car on which the operation was performed is a Mazda CX-7.
