To replace the front dipped beam bulbs on a Mazda 2, start by opening the bonnet, then disconnect the connector for the left bulb; once the connector is disconnected, remove the rubber cover from the back of the headlamp; now unclip the retaining clip that holds the bulb in place and remove the bulb; after removing the old bulb, insert the new bulb in the same orientation as the old one, replace the rubber cover on the back of the headlamp and reconnect the connector. Once the bulb is replaced, check the operation of the new bulb; now proceed to replace the bulb in the other headlamp using the same method and verify the operation of the other bulb as well.
