The task of removing your car's steering wheel requires patience and time. This guide provides useful tips for removing the steering wheel. After positioning the car's wheels straight, remove the key from the ignition and engage the handbrake for added safety. Next, open the bonnet and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery. Then, remove the power steering by taking out the screws. Once the steering column cover is removed and the two connectors at the top are disengaged, the job will be complete and you can proceed to remove the steering wheel.

Lift the bonnet; remove the soundproofing panel from the engine and locate the diesel filter (as shown in the video). Using a socket wrench, unscrew the bolts (a spanner can also be used) near the container where the diesel filter is located. Once the filter is removed, disconnect the circulation hoses and take it out of the vehicle (replace it with a new filter). Finally, refit the filter to the attached container of the diesel filter (connect the hoses and wires) and tighten the appropriate bolts. Close the bonnet afterwards.
