How to adjust the handbrake in the Mazda 3?

In this tutorial we can see how to adjust the handbrake in the Mazda 3, an extremely simple and quick operation. First of all, we park the vehicle on a flat surface with the first gear engaged, then we release the handbrake and open the glove compartment located under the central armrest. We then unhook the console from the tunnel, locate the adjustment nut, and, using a 10mm socket wrench, tighten it until reaching the desired tension level. Finally, we put everything back together and test the adjustment on a suitable road.
