How to adjust the handbrake in the Mazda 3?

In this tutorial, we can see how to adjust the handbrake in the Mazda 3, a very simple and quick operation. First of all, we park the vehicle on a flat surface and with the first gear engaged, then we release the console located at the base of the handbrake lever using preferably a plastic spatula. We then locate the adjustment nut, screw it in using a long 10mm socket wrench, and reach the desired tension level. At this point, all that's left to do is to test the new adjustment on a suitable road, obviously in complete safety.
