How to replace the shift lever boot in the Mazda 3?

In this tutorial we can see how to replace the gear shift knob cover in the Mazda 3, a very simple and quick operation. First of all, go inside the car, then lift the center armrest, grab the plastic cover from the back side and, pulling it upwards, unclip it from the base. Then unscrew the knob from the shaft, remove the frame containing the cover and separate the cover by unscrewing the four fixing screws. At this point, all that remains is to place the replacement and reassemble everything following the reverse procedure.
