How to replace the engine oil filter on a Mazda Mazda 3? Here’s how to proceed with the replacement: lift the car with a column lift and secure it, then use a socket spanner to unscrew the large securing bolt of the container cap where the oil filter is located; remove the worn oil filter and position a new one after unscrewing and re-tightening the bolt of the oil sump (drain the fluid into a container for future disposal). Finally, top up the engine with new fluid and close the bonnet after maintenance.
