How to Replace the Fuel Tank Float in a Mercedes C-Class

For this operation, you need to know where the fuel tank is located. It is under the rear passenger seat. After removing the seat cushion, remove the bolts that secure the tank cover. This will give you access to the protective ring where the fuel pump is located. Disconnect the connector on top and proceed to extract the pump. You can then easily remove the lever that holds the float. Follow the steps in reverse to reassemble the various components you removed.
