This short guide will illustrate how to disassemble and replace the water pump of the Mercedes C-Class 200, with engine code OM651. First, let's lift the vehicle and start by removing the plastic cover located under the engine, then proceed to drain the coolant. Next, we will disconnect the serpentine belt by loosening the tensioner, as shown in the video. At this point, we will unscrew the bolts of the water pump located on its sides, remove it, and replace it with the new one (or simply replace the gasket); then we will reassemble everything and top up with the new coolant.
