To replace the water pump on a Mercedes-Benz C-Class, open the hood to access the components in the engine compartment. Locate the water pump pulley on the left side of the engine block.

Loosen the central nut and remove the belt to take off the pulley, revealing the water pump underneath. Remove the water pump from its housing and replace it with a new part.

After the replacement, reinstall all the components that were removed.
