Today, follow the steps to remove and replace the water pump on a Mercedes C-Class, as outlined below. First, open the hood of the vehicle and begin disconnecting the serpentine belt by loosening the tensioner; then disconnect the coolant hose, allowing the fluid to drain into a container.

At this point, remove all the screws from the water pump housing to take out the old pump and replace it with the new one, following the reverse procedure!
