How do you replace the external rearview mirror of the Mercedes E-Class?

To remove the external rearview mirror of the Mercedes E-Class, you need to completely remove the corresponding door panel: to do this, you will need to pry with an object to detach the trim at the top right of the panel and the central one, loosening the underlying screws. Once these have been loosened, it will be possible to detach the panel and locate the screws that secure the corresponding mirror: in this way, you can also disconnect the connectors related to the mirror, inserting the new replacement piece and reassembling all the removed parts.
